Joann Horton, Ph.D

An experienced professional who enjoys teaming with each client to achieve outstanding visions, enhance outcomes (productivity) and strengthen connections with community. She has a passion for education and providing each individual with the tools essential to lifelong success. Formerly a top executive in higher education and state government, Dr. Horton has held positions such as academic vice president, executive vice president, president, and CEO/director of a state community college system. She has also served COO of an educational consulting firm. She has served on a variety of educational and non-profit boards and commissions and received multiple honors and awards for service excellence. An alumna of Leadership Greater Chicago and Leadership Illinois, Dr. Horton earned her PhD from The Ohio State University in higher education administration and public administration.
